Right of Withdrawal

This is an English-language summary for convenience. The German version, including the statutory model withdrawal form, is the legally binding one — if you need to formally withdraw from a contract, please use that page.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you other than the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Niklas-Amoah Alotey, Württembergallee 27, 14052 Berlin, kniffshop@gmail.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form on the German page, but it is not required.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for supplementary costs from choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive notice of your withdrawal.

We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided proof of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply, or expires early, for contracts to supply goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual choice or specification by you is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to your personal needs (§ 312g(2) no. 1 BGB).

This particularly affects orders placed via Custom Print (3D-Druck auf Anfrage), since those parts are individually made to a customer's own file or specification. This exclusion does not apply to the regular shop products (household/office/car category): some of these are offered in different colour variants, but that alone does not make them an individual custom-made item under § 312g(2) no. 1 BGB — we do not currently offer engravings or other personalised custom work for these products. The 14-day right of withdrawal described above therefore applies without restriction to the regular shop products.
